Bipolar: During power-up, the direction of the current changes for each coil. Namely: A+→A-; B+→B-,A+←A-,B+←B-;

Unipolarity: During the power-up process, the polarity of the power-on is unchanged for each outlet end. That is, power up A+, B+, A-, B-, in a specific order.

Drive requirements

1. It can provide fast current rise and fall speed, so that the current waveform is as close to the rectangle as possible. There is a loop for releasing current flow during the cut-off period to reduce the back EMF across the winding and accelerate current attenuation.

2. It has high rhyme power and efficiency.

Stepper motor driver, it is to convert the pulse signal sent by the control system into the angular displacement of the stepper motor, or in other words: each pulse signal sent by the control system, the stepper motor rotates a step angle through the drive, that is, the speed of the stepper motor is proportional to the frequency of the pulse signal.

Therefore, by controlling the frequency of the step pulse signal, you can accurately adjust the speed of the motor; By controlling the number of step pulses, the motor can be precisely positioned. There are many stepper motor drivers, and the drive should be reasonably selected with actual power requirements.

How to control the four-wire bipolar motor?

The 4-wire bipolar motor has two sets of windings, and the two windings can be connected in parallel or in series, generally using parallel connection at high speed and series connection at low speed.

Is this four-phase two-stage stepper motor a four-wire bipolar stepper motor? And how is this wiring diagram connected?

Is this four-phase two-stage stepper motor a four-wire bipolar stepper motor  And how is this wiring diagram connected

I would like to know the wiring diagram of driving a four-wire bipolar stepper motor on a 51 microcontroller.
Four-phase two-stage stepper motor (as the name suggests, it is 4 phase, generally refers to the 8-wire two-phase stepper motor, some people have to say four-phase)

Four-wire bipolar stepper motor (refers to a 4-wire two-phase stepper motor, because the 6-wire two-phase stepper motor is a unipolar stepper motor).

Only two ends of a winding are bipolar stepper motors, and if the windings have a center tap, they are unipolar motors.
