What is the reason why the stepper motor does not rotate?
There are many reasons why the stepper motor does not rotate, and it is necessary to quickly determine the cause and accurately repair it at the equipment application site to reduce the economic loss caused by the equipment shutdown.
There are 2 reasons why motors are caused in the field of application:
1. The problem of the motor, if there is a drive product of the same specification on the equipment in the application site, you can choose a normal driver to drive the motor with a bad shaft, if the motor can work normally, you can rule out the fault of the motor, you can judge that it is a problem with the drive, on the contrary, if the motor can not work normally, it can be judged that the motor is defective and the motor needs to be replaced.

2. The problem of the drive, through the first step, can be roughly judged to be the problem of the drive. If the power light of the drive is not lit (the driver of Norco Technology has a green power indicator), you can use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the power input of the drive, if the voltage is abnormal, you can judge that the power supply is faulty, you can replace the power supply, if the power supply voltage is normal, you can judge the internal circuit failure of the drive, it is recommended to replace the drive or return to the factory for maintenance. If the power supply voltage is normal, and the power indicator of the drive is also normal, you need to see whether the fault indicator of the drive is alarmed, if there is no alarm, you can use to screw the shaft of the motor whether it is with force, if the motor shaft does not carry force, you can use a multimeter to test whether the ENA signal is normal, if the drive is enabled effectively, but without force, judge that the driver may have circuit failure, it is recommended to replace the drive or return to the factory for repair. If the motor is normal with force, you need to check whether the pulse signal wiring is normal, you can test and judge by the multimeter, if the control pulse wiring is normal, you can judge that the internal circuit of the drive is bad, it is recommended to replace the drive or return to the factory for maintenance. If the fault light of the drive flashes, the user can troubleshoot according to the fault prompt, such as NDM552 flashes 4 times, for the motor phase loss fault, the user can check whether the motor wiring is loose; Flashing 2 times, for overvoltage fault, the user needs to check the voltage of the power supply, the driver in the working process, to ensure that the driver bus voltage does not exceed the rated working voltage of the driver, to reserve a certain safety margin.
