DMA860H product is a new generation of intelligent digital subdivision stepper motor driver composed of advanced DSP control chip and unique control circuit combined by Dongmochuan Company.
Based on precision PID current control algorithm design, high-speed high torque output. The dynamic current is automatically halved at rest, which greatly reduces the temperature rise of the motor and maximizes the performance of the motor.

How is a two-phase stepper motor connected to the drive?
Two-phase stepper motors usually have three wire types, four-wire, six-wire and eight-wire, the schematic diagram is as follows:

In fact, two-phase stepper motors are usually combined with four phases, four-wire type is connected in series or parallel at the time of the factory, and then four wires are led out, while the six-wire type is connected in series from the middle of phase A and phase B to form 6 outlets, eight-wire type is not connected internally, directly lead out all 8 taps of the four-phase, and can be connected according to needs when used.
Four-wire connection: The simplest wiring is the four-wire type, as long as you judge which two are A phase and which two are B phase, there is no need to judge positive or negative.
Usually use the buzzer of the multimeter to measure any two lines, the two on is a group, you can also use the short rotation method, if the motor has resistance then the short two for a group, take a group to do A phase, the other group is B phase, if the motor direction is reversed, the A phase two pairs or B phase two pairs can be adjusted.
Six-wire connection: first use a multimeter to measure the on-off to determine which three are a group, and then according to the resistance between the middle tap and any two is half of the resistance between the other two, you can determine which is the middle tap. There are three most commonly used wiring methods:
Eight-wire connection: eight-wire type must be combined into four wires and then connected to the driver, the combination can be used in series or parallel, the combination method can refer to the four-wire wiring diagram.
We can use the same method of four-wire to judge the four groups separately, but it is difficult to judge which two groups should be combined into one phase, we can take any two groups connected to A+/A- and B+/B- respectively, send pulse drive to the driver, if the motor can rotate then the selected two groups are not the same phase, after recording the color of the B+/B- connection line and the direction of rotation of the motor, A+/A- remain motionless and remove B+/B- to switch to another group, if it cannot be rotated, it means that the two groups selected are the same phase, Hold A+/A- and switch B+/B- until you find another group that can rotate, record the color of the B+/B- connection line and the rotation direction of the motor again, if the two rotation directions are the same, then the B+ polarity of the two times is the same, the B- polarity is the same, if the direction is opposite, the first B+ and the second B- polarity is the same, the first B- and the second B+ polarity is the same, and then the polarity of the two groups of A phase can also be judged by the same method.

The series low-speed torque is large, and the parallel high-speed torque is small.
Parallel connection method: four-phase winding two phases parallel, the resistance and inductance of the winding are doubled, the acceleration performance of the motor is good, the high-speed load torque is large, but the motor needs to input twice the rated current current, the heat generation is large, and the output capacity of the driver is required to increase accordingly.
Series connection method: the resistance and inductance of the winding increase exponentially, the motor is stable when running at low speed, the noise and heat generation are small, the requirements for the drive are not high, but the high-speed torque loss is large. Therefore, users can choose the four-phase eight-wire stepper motor wiring method according to their requirements.
