It doesn't have to be a servo motor, and ordinary motors can also be used, but it's a bit wasteful. Like Charica 97 oil.

Advantages of precision planetary gearboxes with servo motors

Usually the precision planetary reducer users we sell are used with servo motors, because the speed of servo motors is relatively high, about 3000-6000 revolutions, and ordinary gear reducers can not reach such a high input speed, and servo motors are used to match, only servo planetary reducers can meet the needs of servo motors.

The input speed of Asaooka precision planetary reducer can reach 8000 rpm, which is just the right feature to meet the performance requirements of servo motors.

Servo motors are different from other types of motors in that the structural principle of servo motors is to put the control circuit outside the motor, and the inside is a standard DC motor or AC induction motor.

Secondly, the original torque of the servo motor in the equipment is generally not enough, and the combination of the two servo reducers can reduce the motor speed and increase the torque.

Servo reducer

Because the servo motor is a high-precision motor, can be controlled by the communication protocol, and can be equipped with encoders to achieve accurate positioning, is precision automation equipment, CNC machine tools and industrial intelligent robots in the commonly used motor, if the matching reducer accuracy is very low and inefficient, it loses the servo motor itself has high-precision characteristics.
Therefore, Asaoka concluded that the high-precision, high-input speed characteristics of the precision planetary reducer are exactly matched with the servo motor, which can achieve a good transmission effect.

Why is the planetary gear reducer equipped with a servo motor?

This is a way to increase the output torque in order to increase the torque, and the output torque of the servo motor may be directly increased.

This should be determined according to actual needs, generally mainly with servo motors and stepper motors, can achieve a significant increase in positioning accuracy (anti-shake), significantly reduce the inertia of the motor, and the increase of torque is inevitable.

There are also times when matching with ordinary motors, this situation is more special, in the installation space is limited, but there is no need for servo positioning will be matched in this way, because the planetary reducer has large torque, compact size, and servo is very expensive. So it will normally hitch a ride on the planet.

First of all, the servo motor does not necessarily have to be equipped with a planetary reducer.

In addition to the characteristics of being able to withstand large loads, planetary reducers can also make transmission accuracy particularly high, and the backlash accuracy at the output end can reach less than 1 point.

Usually when the positioning accuracy requirements are not so high, it can be equipped with other reducers, helical gear reducers, bevel gear reducers K series, R series, F series, with low backlash option / R, transmission accuracy is also particularly high, general transmission accuracy requirements are no problem.
